Saeed Anwar (born September 6, 1968 in Karachi, Pakistan) is a former Pakistani opening batsman. A left-hander, Anwar is most notable for scoring 194 runs against India in Chennai in 1997, the previous highest and now the second highest joint individual score in a One Day International. India's Sachin Tendulkar overtook Anwar's record, when he scored 200* against South Africa on February 24, 2010.
An opening batsman capable of annihilating any bowling attack on his day, Anwar was an attacking batsman in one-day matches and once settled in Test matches, scored quickly and all over the field. His success came from good timing and wrist flicks rather than physical power, and Anwar became famous for his trademark flick. He was able to lift a ball that had pitched outside off stump for six over midwicket. Anwar's timing and ability to score quick runs made him a crowd favourite. He was named as a Wisden Cricketer of the Year in 1997.
Anwar was the first Pakistani batsman to score a century against India on Indian soil in a one-day match. He has the highest Test batting average (59.06) of any Pakistani against Australia, and once scored three consecutive centuries.

Salman Butt (born October 7, 1984 in Lahore, Pakistan) is a Pakistani cricketer who regularly opens the batting for his national side in both Test and ODI matches. He made his Test debut on September 3, 2003 in the 3rd test against Bangladesh, and a year later made his ODI debut against West Indies on September 22, 2004. He started in the Under-17s and quickly progressed through to Under-19 level, although at the time he was much younger than the age limits suggest, making his senior debut for Lahore Whites in 2000 aged only 16. His talent was noticed immediately, which led to him being given a place in the Pakistan A team against England soon after. However, instead of rushing straight for the limelight of international cricket, he got his head down and consolidated by playing consistently for his region and the youth teams, until the Pakistan selectors finally drafted him in 2003. After his debut, Butt was dropped and struggled to regain his place due to some stiff competition for the openers' spots. He returned for the Champions' Trophy in 2004 and scored his first fifty for Pakistan in the Paktel Cup against Sri Lanka. He was not yet particularly famous. In the ODI against India on 13 November 2004, as Pakistan chased down 292, he formed partnerships first with Shoaib Malik, putting on 113, and subsequently with Inzamam-Ul-Haq. Despite having to retire hurt for seven overs due to severe cramp, he returned to steer Pakistan home, finishing on 108 not out. Yet 2005 saw little improvement, and doubts circulated about his defensive technique causing him to yo-yo in and out of the side. But things started looking up again during the winter Test series against England, in which he scored a century and two fifties with a more cautious attitude to his innings-building the he had previously shown.

Making his first class debut at the age of 17, Fawad played with Pakistan Customs and Karachi. He impressed enough to be selected to play in the U-19 World Cup, which Pakistan won.
Fawad starred in the 2006–07 domestic season, finishing as the fifth highest run scorer in the Quaid-e-Azam trophy. He took a 5 wicket haul in the Twenty20 Cup final which earned him Man of the Match and was also named Man of the Series, Best Batsman and Best Bowler.
After Pakistan's disappointing World Cup campaign, Alam was drafted into a 16 man squad for a One Day International series against Sri Lanka in Abu Dhabi. His debut in the 3rd ODI was one to forget, he was caught and bowled by Dilhara Fernando for a first ball duck.

His second One-day International was a better experience, as he contributed 32 unbeaten runs down the order as Pakistan beat India by 31 runs in Jaipur.
In between those two matches, he traveled to South Africa as part of Pakistan's squad for the 2007 ICC World Twenty20 tournament. He played in the semi-final, taking two wickets against New Zealand, one a superb caught and bowled effort to dismiss Lou Vincent, as Pakistan progressed to the final, for which he was not selected. In Asia Cricket Cup in June 2008, he scored his maiden half century against Hong Kong. In that match, Pakistan's top order was ripped by Hong Kong bowlers before Fawad and another team mate Sohail Tanvir set up a 100 runs partnership for the 8th wicket. Sohail ended at 59 while Fawad Alam remained unbeaten at 63*. However he was unexpectedly dropped for the Sri Lanka series in January 2009.
In July 2009, Fawad became the first Pakistani cricketer to score a Test century on debut away from home, and the tenth to score a century on debut. In the second innings of the Second test against Sri Lanka, Fawad scored 168 this is the second highest score on debut for Pakistan, before this Yasir Hameed scored 170 in 2003 in Karachi. He along with Captain Younis Khan scored 200 runs for the second wickets partnership, breaking the previous record of 151 runs between Mohsin Khan and Majid Khan at Lahore in 1981-82. It was also highest partnership for Pakistan against Sri Lanka in Sri Lanka.[1] This is also 15 highest score on Test debut.[2] This is also the highest score by a Pakistani on debut on losing side. Previously it was by Younis Khan.[3] He currently plays his cricket for Lincolnshire ECB Premier league side Woodhall Spa Fawad Alam got married on 22 November 2011 in Karachi.

Nasir Jamshed (born December 6, 1989 in Lahore) is a Pakistani cricketer. He is an attacking left handed opening batsman. Jamshed made his first class but at the age of just 15 and was soon selected to the Pakistan Under-19 cricket team for a series against Sri Lanka, making 204 in the second innings on his but. In the 2007-08 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy series he scored over 800 runs and earned selection in the Patron's XI side to play Zimbabwe. He made 182 runs and within a week was playing ODI cricket for Pakistan. In his debut against the Zimbabweans he opened the batting and smashed 61 off just 48 deliveries which saw him win the Man of the Match award. In his second ODI, he hit 74 off 64 balls, becoming only third Pakistani to make consecutive half centuries in first and second matches. In Asia Cup 2008, Jamshed hit two 50's in the two matches he played. Against India at Karachi, he scored 53 until he was retired hurt. In the next game against Bangladesh, he scored a quick fire 52 not out at Karachi which set up an unbeaten 116 runs opening stand with Salman Butt which saw Pakistan home with more than 30 overs still to play. From these performances, he has really strengthened his position as an opener in the Pakistani ODI squad. During the Asia Cup 2008 Jamshed's fitness was questioned by the commentators and he visibly seemed over weight. This lack of fitness also lead him to miss the following Twenty20 tournament in Canada, and a 3 match ODI series against the West Indies. Sohail Tanvir born December 12,1984,Rawalpindi,Punjab.He is left hand batsman.The Rawalpindi born allrounder made his first-class debut against Peshawar in October 2004 but failed to impress with bat or ball. However, in his second match, against Multan, Sohail Tanvir scored an unbeaten 97 while taking three wickets but has played only 17 first-class matches since (a total of 19 in three seasons).
Tanvir has established himself as a batting allrounder and his unbeaten 124 (his second first-class century) in the Pentangular Cup 2007 match against Sind further established that point. He also represented Pakistan Academy on their tour of Bangladesh and his fine all-round performance on that tour and against Australia A in the ODI series at home prompted the selectors to name him as Shoaib Akhtar’s replacement in the inaugural ICC World Twenty20. The decision came as a surprise, however, as Tanvir was yet to take a wicket in the ten Twenty20 matches he had played.

Mohammad Yousuf (formerly Yousuf Youhana, born 27 August 1974, Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan) is a Pakistani cricketer who has been a member of the Pakistani national cricket team since 1998. He is best known for his achievement in 2006 when he broke the great West Indian batsman, Sir Vivian Richards', world record for the most Test runs in a single calendar year. Prior to his conversion to Islam in 2005, Yousuf was one of the few Christians to play in the Pakistan national cricket team. He made his Test debut against South Africa at Durban and ODI debut against Zimbabwe at Harare. He has scored over 9,000 ODI runs at an average of 43.63 (2rd highest batting average among Pakistani batsmen after Zaheer Abbas and 6,770 Test runs at an average of 55.49 (highest batting average amongst all Pakistani batsmen) with 23 Test centuries. He has the record of scoring the most runs without being dismissed in ODIs, 405 against Zimbabwe in Zimbabwe in 2002-03. He has also scored a 23-ball fifty in ODIs, and a 68-ball hundred. In Tests he has scored a 27-ball fifty, which is 3rd fastest by any player. He was top scorer during the successive years of 2002 and 2003 in the world in ODIs. In 2004, he scored a memorable 111 against the Australians in the Boxing Day Test. In December 2005, he scored 223 against England at Lahore, also earning him the man of the match award. He is also distinguished by his characteristic celebration after hitting one hundred runs for his country, where he prostrates in thankfulness to Allah in the direction of Mecca.
